A sociable animal
It is a sociable animal that needs its peers to be happy. It is highly recommended to have minimum 2 chinchillas together. The rules of cohabitation must be respected for not rush the animals and not make them hurt each other. Chinchillas have personalities that may not match, sometimes animals may never by friendly.
The chinchilla should not be alone.
